Yale Public Interest Fellow Joins the Firm

BRIDGEPORT, May 3, 2022 – Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder announced the continued expansion of its litigation team with the addition of Atty. Colin Antaya, a strong advocate for obtaining justice for his clients and making the world a safer and better place for all. Atty. Antaya joins Koksoff as an associate.
Before joining Koskoff, Atty. Antaya was a legal fellow at the Conservation Law Foundation (CLF), where he focused on the development of legal and policy approaches to reduce the use of pesticides in New England. His fellowship was funded by the Arthur Liman Center for Public Interest Law at Yale Law School.

Following law school, Atty. Antaya, a New Haven resident, clerked for the Honorable Steven D. Ecker of the Connecticut Supreme Court.
He earned his J.D. from Yale Law School in 2019. While in law school, he was co-director of the International Refugee Assistance Project and a member of the Housing Clinic. He served as a legal intern for Community Legal Services of Philadelphia and for the Boston District Court Public Defender’s Office.
“I went to law school to do my small part to make the world a better place, advance justice and help people in need,” Atty. Antaya said. “The law is one of the most powerful ways we have to make change for good.”
Atty. Antaya, in 2019, earned a master’s degree in Public Administration from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. He graduated summa cum laude from Rhodes College, Memphis, with an undergraduate degree in philosophy and history.
He is a member of the American Bar Association, Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, and Greater Bridgeport Bar Association.
