KK&B Attorneys Spoke About $58 Million Verdict in Cerebral Palsy Case
Koskoff Attorneys Jim Horwitz and Kathleen Nastri spoke last week at the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association College of Evidence seminar at Quinnipiac School of Law in Hamden, CT. Their presentation, entitled “The 58 Million Dollar Verdict,” focused on the Bridgeport-based firm’s recent case in which a jury awarded $58 million to Dominic and Cathy D’Attilo of Norwalk, CT, the parents of a boy who was severely injured during the performance of a c-section. As a result of the birth trauma, the boy suffers from severe cerebral palsy. The verdict is believed to be the largest medical malpractice judgment in Connecticut history.
