Erik Siegel

Erik is a dedicated attorney with a focus in medical malpractice cases resulting in catastrophic injuries or death. Working on cases such as birth injuries, misdiagnosis, and wrongful death, he understands the sensitive and complex nature of representing clients who’ve put their trust and lives in the hands of our local medical institutions.

He began his legal career at Koskoff as a summer associate and after work at other Connecticut trial firms, rejoined the Koskoff team in 2023 where he continued to excel in the medical malpractice field.

Erik has recovered millions of dollars for his clients through significant settlements and trials. He is experienced in all aspects of building a successful case - from finding top experts and asking the hard questions, to seeing the case through at trial.

In 2025, a Bridgeport Jury awarded 20 million in a medical malpractice case for the family of a 68-year-old man who bled to death following surgery. The jury found that the hospital negligently ignored multiple warning signs and improperly failed to recommend to abort the surgical procedure. And in 2024, a New Haven jury awarded $15.4 million to the family of a woman killed by a botched anesthesia medical procedure.

He views his role as one that offers a dedicated voice to his clients, to right a wrong and act as a resource during these life-altering events. Representing his clients is a privilege and responsibility he does not take for granted, and he remains committed to carrying on the important work within the industry to set standards and always strive to be better.
