Yaa Sarpong

Yaa Sarpong joined Koskoff, Koskoff & Bieder in 2016 as the firm’s fourth Theodore I. Koskoff Trial Advocacy Fellow. Yaa is a strong advocate for justice and human rights, and brought to Koskoff a desire to improve the lives of others. Prior to joining Koskoff, Yaa worked in the non-profit sector as a Program Coordinator for Reasoning Mind, promoting education reform. Following her tenure at Reasoning Mind, she was a Coro fellow in Public Affairs in St. Louis, MO, where she worked with nine different organizations in the region on various projects. While in law school, Yaa worked as a human rights intern in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She also held internships with the Securities and Exchange Commission’s New York Regional Office; for Judge Robert Patterson in the Southern District of New York; and for the Attorney General’s Office in Brooklyn.
Yaa is a recent graduate of Columbia University Law School and holds a B.A. from Brown University in Africana Studies and Latin American Studies.
