Sexual Assault in Bridgeport Hospital

We are currently investigating the scope and extent of the sexual assaults that have been occurring at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridegport for at least the last 15 months. We represent two victims thus far, and are meeting with others who may want to file suit. The sexual assaulter is a nursing aide named Gonzalo Flores. He appears from the information available so far to be a serial sexual predator who victimized vulnerable, sometimes drugged and unconscious, patients at the hospital.

But the real guilty party is St. Vincent’s. Flores was arrested by Bridgeport Police after an incident in June. As reported by the Connecticut Post, police said Flores has been accused of “lewd” behavior prior to this incident, but remained on the hospital staff. A hospital is supposed to be a place of safety and care. Instead, St. Vincent’s allowed a very sick man to sexually abuse and assault multiple patients, and it failed to stop the assaults and protect the helpless. We are supposed to be able to trust a hospital; St. Vincent’s betrayed that trust.
