Negligent Medical Treatment

Malpractice at Colleges & Camps

College health care centers face pressure to cut costs. Campuses nationwide are cutting back on health care services like overnight infirmaries. Medical malpractice can be the unintended result.

Malpractice on Campus

Did you or your child suffer serious harm due to medical malpractice at a college or university health care center? The attorneys at Koskoff Koskoff & Bieder PC, represent clients who were seriously harmed by malpractice at campus health care centers as well as those at residential high schools and camps.

Students are at risk of malpractice from failure to diagnose and properly treat a wide range of health conditions and failure to respond in a safe and timely manner to medical emergencies.

Negligence Led to a College Student’s Suicide

Doctor or nurse negligence is not the only cause of health-related tragedies on campus. In one of our cases, a college student was suffering a psychiatric breakdown. Campus security was notified and security guards transported the student to a hospital emergency room.

The guards dropped the student off at the entrance and drove away. The student went into the ER and waited. Before being seen by a doctor, he walked out of the ER and made his way to a bridge, where he jumped to his death into a ravine.

Our attorneys vigorously pursue damages on behalf of students injured by the negligence of others. To arrange a free initial consultation to discuss your case, please contact our law firm.
