The families of three dozen people killed or maimed in the April 1995 Oklahoma City bombing are suing the federal government for negligence, claiming more than $4 billion in damages. Each claim seeks $25 million.

Atty. Richard Bieder has filed preliminary documents leading to a class action suit against the FBI, the U.S. Department of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, the U.S. Marshals Service, the General Services Administration and Federal Protective Services, which is responsible for security in federal buildings.

Currently, Atty. Bieder represents 170 people and expects that number to continue growing as more victims join the case.
